There was a decrease in total units sold in April, with 53 sold this month in Prince George County and Hopewell City Real Estate versus 61 last month, a decrease of 13%. This month's total units sold was lower than at this time last year, a decrease of 22% versus April 2024.

Versus last year, the total number of homes available this month is lower by 7 units or 6%. The total number of active inventory this April was 117 compared to 124 in April 2024. This month's total of 117 is higher than the previous month's total supply of available inventory of 94, an increase of 24%.

Last April, the median sale price for Prince George County and Hopewell City Homes was $277,750. This April, the median sale price was $276,000, a decrease of 1% or $1,750 compared to last year. The current median sold price is 2% higher than in March.

Median sale price is the middle sale price in a given month. The same number of properties are above & below the median.

In April, there was 2.2 months of supply available in Prince George County and Hopewell City, compared to 1.8 in April 2024. That is an increase of 21% versus a year ago.

This month, the average number of days on market was 35, higher than the average last year, which was 31, an increase of 13%.
