Units Sold
There was an increase in total units sold in January, with 32 sold this month in Accomack County Real Estate versus 29 last month, an increase of 10%. This month's total units sold was higher than at this time last year, an increase of 33% versus January 2024.

Active Inventory
Versus last year, the total number of homes available this month is higher by 16 units or 7%. The total number of active inventory this January was 236 compared to 220 in January 2024. This month's total of 236 is lower than the previous month's total supply of available inventory of 242, a decrease of 2%.

Median Sale Price
Due to the relatively small number of units sold, the median sale price showed significant change this month. Last January, the median sale price for Accomack County Homes was $245,000. This January, the median sale price was $307,500, an increase of $62,500 compared to last year. The current median sold price is higher than in December.

Median sale price is the middle sale price in a given month. The same number of properties are above & below the median.

In January, the average sale price in Accomack County was 97.2% of the average list price, which is similar compared to a year ago.

This month, the average number of days on market was 75, lower than the average last year, which was 97, a decrease of 23%.
