There was an increase in total units sold in March, with 131 sold this month in Hyattsville, Brentwood, Bladensburg, and Mount Rainier Real Estate versus 120 last month, an increase of 9%. This month's total units sold was lower than at this time last year, a decrease of 25% versus March 2024.

Versus last year, the total number of homes available this month is higher by 65 units or 21%. The total number of active inventory this March was 374 compared to 309 in March 2024. This month's total of 374 is lower than the previous month's total supply of available inventory of 380, a decrease of 2%.

Last March, the median sale price for Hyattsville, Brentwood, Bladensburg, and Mount Rainier Homes was $447,000. This March, the median sale price was $390,000, a decrease of 13% or $57,000 compared to last year. The current median sold price is 12% lower than in February.

Median sale price is the middle sale price in a given month. The same number of properties are above & below the median.

In March, there was 2.9 months of supply available in Hyattsville, Brentwood, Bladensburg, and Mount Rainier, compared to 1.8 in March 2024. That is an increase of 61% versus a year ago.
